Privacy

Short version: no accounts, no tracking cookies of our own, and we do not store what you paste into the ingredient checker.

What we collect

• Page statistics. For each page request we record the page address, the time, the referring site, broad device and browser type, an approximate country and region from an offline IP lookup, and a one-way hash of your IP address that changes every day. We do not store your IP address itself.
• Ingredient checker. What you paste is processed to show results and then discarded. It is not stored or logged.
• Searches. We keep search words, without anything that identifies you, to learn which pages to build. E-mail addresses typed into search are removed.
• Questions you submit. If you ask a question about a product, we keep the question text after removing names, e-mail addresses and phone numbers. Please do not include personal or health details.
• Outbound links. When you click a store link, we count the click. We do not record who clicked.

Third parties

If enabled, Google Analytics (without Google signals or ad personalization) and Google AdSense may set their own cookies under Google's policies. Retailers you visit through our links have their own privacy policies.
